Mark Hendricks participated in the IL State Geography Bee held at the Field Museum in Chicago on April 4.  He tied for 17th place.  100 students qualified for the competition out of over 650 school geography bee winners.  Mark is shown pointing to Altamont on a map that showed where all of the participants were from.
