Religion is not only the most important subject where we study and learn from God's Word, but it is a part of every subject and hopefully a vital part of our daily living.  Your child will have the opportunity to grow in their love and understanding of their Lord and Savior.

Our religion series is called One in Christ and is published by Concordia Publishing House.  We have nine books of Bible stories.  We will learn more of His Word through memory work.  Several songs, verses and prayers will be memorized in class.  Memory work as homework will begin in the 3rd quarter.  This will be an opportunity for parents to share what these selections mean to them.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen

[I believe] in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.

(Hebrews 11:6) Without faith it is impossible to please God.
