Math

We will use the Saxon Math program.  The students will meet every morning for our Math Meeting  During this time, we review calendar, time, patterns, counting, temperature, money, and problem solving.  Throughout our Lesson we use manipulatives to learn the math concepts.  We will do one side of our worksheet in class.  The other side will be completed at home.  Please review these with your child and also practice the math facts daily.  Third graders should master addition, subtraction and multiplication facts.  We will also begin division facts.  Math facts are the foundation for future math classes.
