Computers

We have three computers in the classroom for Accelerated Reading and learning games.

Once a week the students have a scheduled 40 minutes in the computer lab. Computer terminology and skills are taught and reinforced. Keyboarding is continued using the program Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing. Math skills are reinforced using the program Math Facts in a Flash. Fun projects are done using Kid Pix Deluxe. The program Zip Zap Map is used to reinforced learning U.S. states and capitals. At times the computer class is used to integrate lessons or projects from the classroom.
