Illness/Accidents

Unfortunately, children do get sick or injured at school once in a while.  If you notice symptoms before school, it may be best to keep your child at home to avoid problems.  Your child will recover more quickly at home and not infect the others in the class.  When your child returns from an absence, he must have a note from you.

If your child does become ill at school (fever, vomiting or other obvious symptoms) I will call you to make arrangements for picking them up early.  Make sure the school has an emergency number on file in case you cannot be reached.

Accidents beyond the minor cut or bruise will be handled the same way.  If immediate medical attention is necessary we could possibly need your okay over the phone.
