I use the Accelerated Math curriculum in grade 5-7. The Saxon textbook is used as an informational resource, along with notes given on selected lessons.A Google document has been added with class notes that the students can assess at home.This program is a tremendous tool enabling the students to work at different levels geared to their ability level. It promotes skills of time management, self-motivation, and organization, which are so important in every level of academics and employment opportunities. One of the biggest problems I face in teaching math is getting students to realize how much fun math can be, and to destroy the idea that math is too difficult for them to be successful.
