Second Quarter - Mouse Trap Car
You will build a mouse trap car to show Potential energy turning into Kinetic energy. This will be a car built for distance and not speed.
The project will be worth 30 points. You will receive 30 points if your car will go ten feet. You will lose 2 points for every foot below 10 feet. I will give 1 point extra credit up to 20 points, for every foot your car goes past 15 feet.
The rules are
You must use a victor type MOUSE trap for power.
You must use a string wrapped around axle design.
You must build it from scratch. No kits allowed.
Maximum length is 2 feet.
You must have fun.
