Computers

The seventh-eighth graders receive computer instruction 2 or 3 times per week.  The students especially enjoy learning some desktop publishing skills.  A new program we've added this year is Scratch.  This teaches some processes of computer programming in a more kid-friendly environment.  This gives the students a wide variety of skills on which to build.
