Math for the 8th graders is an Algebra I course, using the McDougal Littel series. It is a very good basic algebra series that prepares them well for math at the high school level. The most difficult thing for them to overcome is the fear of doing algebra. Most students realize that it is not nearly as scary as they had convinced themselves it would be.
